Magdala Media just recently announced the first two titles coming to Game Expo Scotland, and they’re pretty epic. One of these titles is Deep Silver’s Homefront: The Revolution-an open world FPS set two years after the original Homefront. This game is currently being developed by Crytek UK. In this game, you take control of Ethan Brady as he leads a revolutionary charge against an oppressive North Korean regime in the US. The other title announced is Dead Island 2.
In Dead Island 2, you’ll find yourself fighting off the usual zombie horde using finely crafted weapons and relying on the skill and competency of your mates. The developers that developed Spec Ops: The Line are working on Dead Island 2. Some people have heard that the developers are keeping quite close to the source material, and adding a little more colour and lightheartedness to the series.
Crytek US will also be giving a developer session talk about Homefront: The Revolution at GES, but the organizers are not saying anything at the moment about the session.
