Tencent Games to Showcase Latest Tech at the GDC 2024

Tencent Games Sessions and Booth to Showcase the Latest in Games

Tencent Games, the world’s leading platform for game development, publishing and operation, is excited to announce its presence at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2024, which will take place in San Francisco from March 18 to 22. With experts appearing in eight sessions, and a feature-packed booth, Tencent Games will demonstrate how its latest innovations and technologies help deliver next-generation game experiences for consumers.

The sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including machine learning, character animation systems, large-scale rendering, high frame rate rendering, ray tracing, cross-platform development pipeline management and F2P game UX research methodology. The line-up features existing titles under Tencent Games, including Naruto Mobile and Arena Breakout from MoreFun Studios, Delta Force: Hawk Ops from TiMi Studio Group, as well as in-house game development tools and research models for F2P games.

With Artificial Intelligence (AI) being increasingly harnessed by the gaming industry, Elvis Liu, AI Team Tech Lead from MoreFun Studios will share his insights into large-scale reinforcement learning in fighting games at GDC’s Machine Learning Summit. Meanwhile, Tencent Games will showcase its latest game technologies at the booth, including the GiiNEX AI game engine, products and solutions of Decision AI, and Generative Game AI from Tencent AI Lab, demonstrating how AI empowers game developers to build next-generation gaming products efficiently, cost-effectively and with exceptional creativity. In addition, Tencent is also bringing its Anti-cheat Expert (ACE), Cloud-enabled Studio and WeTest Global to this year’s GDC, reinforcing its diverse capability and high-quality tools that can support game developers to deliver an exceptional user experience.
