The schedule for Comic-Con 2014 for Saturday, July 26th, 2014, has just been unveiled, with Warner Brothers and Marvel Studios topping the day’s panel events. Warner Brothers will be starting their day from 10 a.m. to noon in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center. Peter Jackson will also make an appearance to discuss “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” set to open December 17th.
Director George Miller will share an exclusive look at “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which is an imagination of a post-apocalyptic saga and stars Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky. Lana and Andy Wachowski, creators of “The Matrix,” will be at Comic Con to show off their first original science fiction film “Jupiter Ascending,” starring Channing Tatum as a genetically engineered ex-military hunter to track down Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis).
Movie star Michael Douglas confirmed his appearance at Comic Con to promote his role as Henry Pym in 2015’s “Ant-Man” earlier this month. Also with “Guardians of the Galaxy” only days from its August 1st opening, it’s quite reasonable to assume that Marvel will show some new footage and cast members will be in appearance. Marvel will also most likely show a sneak peek of “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and invite some cast members to the event.
As night time falls on July 26th, Warner Brothers and DC will introduce the world premiere of “Gotham,” which stars Ben McKenzie as Detective Jim Gordon in a pre-Batman saga of the grim city. This premiere will then be followed by a complete pilot episode of the CW’s highly anticipated “The Flash,” an exclusive video of “Arrow,” and finally the new NBC thriller “Constantine.”
