Events for Gamers has chronicled the conversion of events to digital that started just over a year ago as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe. In terms of safety, business climate and regulations, conditions are gradually improving, in some places more than others. Some event organizers have officially announced that they’re returning to hybrid or live status.
This list will keep tabs of some of the bigger (as in regional, national or international) events that Events for Gamers follows, if or when status announcements are made for live or hybrid status, from mid-year to the end of 2021. If you’re interested in the online-accessible talks, demos, etc. offerings from each event, each of the events will offer digital content access options as well, which the organizers will clarify as the events get closer to their launch dates.
We’re hopeful that by 2022 a special list will not be necessary to highlight an event being live, rather that they will return to more of a norm than an exception.
