Berlin, January 12, 2015 – The INTERNATIONAL GAMES WEEK BERLIN is coming up for the second round: After last year’s huge success, everything in the capital will again revolve around computer games this year from April 21 to 26, 2015. For six days, more than ten established and new individual events will offer both the industry and the game-playing public the opportunity to actively dive into the subject. The INTERNATIONAL GAMES WEEK BERLIN is Germany’s leading communication and networking platform for international game developers, publishers, investors, and representatives of the entire media industry. Last year, nearly 10,000 visitors came to the individual events. “The Games Week has something to offer for everyone, from industry professionals to gamers to regular visitors interested in games. Our aim is to give the creators, the players, and the wider public an understanding of the industry’s trends, developments and prospects“, said Michael Liebe, Head of the INTERNATIONAL GAMES WEEK BERLIN 2015. “We are particularly excited about the new events that will take place under our umbrella brand: With the CGC BarTalk, we will integrate the huge eSports scene into our program. The international trade fair Apps World Germany expects more than 6,000 visitors from the app-developers scene. And our action day Womenize! is all about female talents seeking a career in technology, digital business and media.”
