Indie Prize Showcase Games Announced for Casual Connect Eastern Europe

Over 100 indie developers from 24 countries will be in attendance

Belgrade, SERBIA – October 20, 2014 – Indie Prize, a scholarship program for indie developers created by the Casual Games Association, announced today the games accepted for the Indie Prize Showcase at Casual Connect Eastern Europe, November 10 – 12, 2014.

“It was really difficult to select the games for this showcase, mostly because we couldn’t stop playing them!” said Yulia Vakhrusheva, Director of Indie Prize. “Each game is a unique piece of art. My wish for them is to find their audience, niche, and all the attention they deserve. We hope this event can be that crucial push for these games and their creators.”

42 games from 24 countries will be competing for the Indie Prize Award in 7 different categories, including Best Family Friendly Game, Most Innovative Game, and Best Game Design.

Developers accepted into the Indie Prize Showcase Eastern Europe 2014 include: Telehorse, COFA Games, The Mandragora Team, Senad, KarjaSoft, Storm Bringer Studios, Fun 2 Robots, Highcastle Studios, Mokuni, Elefantopia, Two Desperados, blugri, re:Spot, Adam 2D, made it app, Bearded Bird Studio, Critical Force, LingPlay, Pavel Simeonov, Arkedo and Neko Entertainment, Etienne Perrin, Le Cortex, Fairytale Distillery, Sileni Studios, NeskinSoft, Gamester, Entertainment Forge, Hunter Hamster, Monoplex Games, Heyworks, FrameLineNetwork, PapaFrog, INDUSTRY Entertainment, Nravo Kids, Mi-Clos Studios, CR Logics, 4Stroke Studio, Blam! Games, Lajong and Yarki Studio.

This showcase is sponsored by Amazon, Intel, Splitforce, Photon Realtime, PocketFullofApps, Unity, and Plantronics Gaming.

Founded over a year ago, the Indie Prize Scholarship provides the opportunity for qualified indie development teams to showcase their games at Casual Connect, a conference for professional developers and publishers in the video game industry. Along with travel assistance and a showcase table, indie developers are provided an all access conference pass to Casual Connect. Showcase participants will also be able to compete for a number of awards. Over 400 independent developers have been a part of the showcase since its founding.
