gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show Join Forces to Establish the Region’s Largest Gaming Event

Bangkok, Thailand, 20 February 2025 — gamescom asia, Southeast Asia’s most important B2B and B2C platform for the games industry, and Thailand Game Show, the region’s largest and most vibrant B2C gaming showcase, are officially combining forces to create Southeast Asia’s ultimate gaming stage. This unprecedented merger, debuting in October 2025, unites the best of both worlds: a powerful global business and consumer platform and an electrifying fan-focused gaming experience.

Since its inaugural edition in 2021, gamescom asia has established itself as a key event in the gaming industry, with a home base in Singapore. The most recent 4th edition, held in 2024, attracted over 40,000 attendees from 78 countries and 177 exhibitors. 

In Thailand, the Thailand Game Show has consistently delighted audiences since 2006, with its 2024 event attracting over 185,000 visitors and 50 exhibitors. The union of these two powerhouses will create gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show, Southeast Asia’s ultimate business and launch platform for the games industry and its fans.
