With Microsoft’s recent acquisition of the developer Double Fine Productions, some folks may have wondered if the indie game-showcasing tradition of the Double Fine co-produced Day of the Devs event might have continued on. And, yes indeed, this showcase will continue in its seventh year
Today, Double Fine and the production company Iam8bit announced that game submissions are now open for the upcoming Day of the Days event. It will be hosted at the Midway venue in San Francisco on November 10th, 2019. Submissions for indie games will remain open until September 23, and in October, the full game line-up and more details on the event will be announced. to submit a game entry for consideration, follow this link for the form. More than 80 games were showcased at the 2018 version of the event.

Attendees can expect, in keeping with the event’s tradition, dozens of games, food, drink, and thousands of fellow gamers trying out the latest and greatest from indie developers on a hopefully fine autumn day in the city by the Bay.
