GAAM Announces Event: GAAM Fantasy, a Tribute To Final Fantasy

Jacksonville, FL – Games Art And Music (GAAM), a culture and lifestyle organization focused on growing the gaming industry and experiences in the Southeast, has just announced their summer event: GAAM Fantasy. The event will pay tribute to the popular role-playing video game Final Fantasy and will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Museum and Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida.

“Final Fantasy is an iconic game that many have come to know and love for decades. For something to have so much influence and for so long, speaks volumes about the game’s creators and the players,” explains Ryan Thompson, the founder of GAAM. “For every event, we want GAAMers to experience something like never before. Between Final Fantasy, our interactive Mario Kart tournament, and all the surprises we have in store – people should leave with that feeling.”

Throughout the evening, GAAMers will have the opportunity to win some amazing gaming-related prizes and swag through the support of several sponsors and supporters including Fuzion Vapor, Ivanabitch Vodka and Bento. Artwork and prizes courtesy of Nintendo, Valve, Sony Santa Monica, D3, Her Interactive and more, will be displayed and auctioned during the event as well.

New to this summer’s GAAM Fantasy entertainment lineup will feature karaoke and Rock Band performances by attendees. Returning staples to the schedule of events will be the live charity art auction, cosplay contest, juried art show and gaming tournaments. All charity donations will benefit First Coast No More Homeless Pets and Wounded Warrior Project.

Advance tickets are now available for purchase at reduced prices, and with limited edition GAAM swag, at http://gaam.eventbrite.com, or tickets may be purchased at door for full price.
