The IndieCade East 2014 will be held from February 14, 2014 at 10:30am to February 16, 2014 at 6:30pm. This event lets gamers catch up with their peers, show and discuss their latest work, and lets independent gamer developers show off their latest games. The following is some of the featured exhibitors at the IndieCade East 2014:

PlayStation

Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) has made PlayStation grow and thrive in the US, Canada, and Latin America. SCEA makes advanced hardware that developers are able to use to make vanguard titles and set new standards in interactive entertainment. Facebook

Independent game developers can developer games on Facebook for web and mobile with a suite of SDKs and social features that get games noticed and played by millions of people a day. Featured games from the Facebook platform include Madfinger, Spry Fox, Product Madness, Pretty Simple, Pixelberry, and many others. Facebook is also diving into Unity SDK for web and mobile to get indie games into the hands of players.

Oculus VR

The Oculus Rift lets players participate in an immersive gaming experience though a next-generation virtual reality based headset. The NYU Game Center prides themselves on creative practices, offering MFA and undergraduate courses on the design, production, and study of games as an aesthetic and cultural form. Babycastles

The babycastles exhibition will give people a chance to escape from playing games and read game related small-press reading materials. Babycastles librarians will able to help people find the best material that suits them. The exhibition will also feature state of the art bean bag chairs that people can relax in.

Fastspring
