Originally, it was an indie game exhibition event held under the name of “Tokyo Indie Game Festival” in 2015, but in 2017 it was renewed under the current name of “TOKYO SANDBOX”. Due to the influence of the coronavirus, the long-awaited restart will be held this year after a two-year hiatus.
At this year’s “TOKYO SANDBOX”, over 50 game developers will exhibit over 100 titles. This event is an event that aims to have game developers active in the game industry have contact with general game fans, widely convey and enhance their appeal to the world. This is a valuable opportunity for visitors to actually play the latest indie games and games that have yet to be released. We also plan activities such as video game contests.
