Edmonton Direct 2021 is a celebration of game development and games culture in Edmonton.

The Edmonton Screen Industries Office and the Alberta Esports Association are excited to present an online experience that showcases games and game development in Edmonton. Comprised of two parts, Edmonton Direct is a video and an event. The video premiering May 5th, 2021 at 6:00 PM MDT highlights games and games culture made in Edmonton, while the event brings industry speakers, diverse panels and esports competitors together to show off Edmontonian talent.

Renowned speakers, panels & guests: Celebrating the Mass Effect Legendary Remaster, a chat with Trent Oster of Beamdog, AAA and indie game developers, a message from His Worship, Mayor Don Iveson, and much more!

Free esports competitions with prizes: Sign up for 23 tournaments including: Super Smash Bros, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Tetr.io and many more!
