STOCKHOLM/COLOGNE/NEW YORK — DreamHack Showdown, the all-women Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament, has featured some of the world’s best all-women CS:GO teams as they’ve battled it out to secure a win. A total of $50,000 was divided between the participating teams based on their final placement, with the winners claiming $12k and $10k, respectively.
“Showdown is an amazing, all-women CS:GO tournament featuring some of the best women players in the world,” said Charlie Sirc, Showdown Product Manager at ESL Gaming. “As a woman, I must say our brand’s ongoing commitment to diversity, both on and off camera, is deeply meaningful to me — so this event has become particularly special to our company.”
Dreamhack Showdown Winter Europe
● The all-women winter tournament ended this past weekend on Sunday, December 20
● Two-times reigning DreamHack Showdown champions from XSET (previously Team Originem) took the win after beating Galaxy Racer Esports in the grand final

Dreamhack Showdown Winter North America
● The all-women summer tournament ended this past weekend on Sunday, December 20
● Reigning CLG Red claimed the number one spot and the $12,000 prize check that goes with it after defeating Dignitas in the grand final
