STOCKHOLM / COLOGNE — ESL Gaming, the world’s largest esports company, today announced the return of DreamHack Showdown, the all-women Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament. DreamHack Showdown Winter, which will feature an European and a North American division, will start with qualifiers on December 4-6, with the main tournament running over six days from December 15-20, 2020. Featuring top talent from Europe and North America, DreamHack Showdown Winter will also feature a $50,000 prize pool. Monster Energy is a partner for this event.
Reigning champions from DreamHack Showdown Summer are Team Originem (Europe) and CLG Red (North America).

- The tournament will be played over the course of six days
- The tournament will feature a double elimination bracket with 4 teams being invited and two teams coming from open qualifiers
- The four direct invited teams will be seeded into the first round of the upper-bracket, while the two teams from open qualifiers will face each other in the first round of the lower-bracket
- The final will be played best-of-three with no upper-bracket advantage

- The tournament will be played over the course of six days
- The tournament will feature a double elimination bracket with 2 teams being invited and two teams coming from open qualifiers
